Comments
Careel 18 Mk II's are
highly
regarded cruising boats renowned for their stability and ease of
handling,
and are light enough to be towed by a smaller car.
They have a very heavy keel for their length, which in this boat is
stainless steel and raised & lowered
by the optional
hydraulic system. The Careel 18 Mk III-style fibreglass &
stainless rudder offers improved hydrodynamics, lower maintenance
and more control. The Careel 18 Mk II's mast is very easy to raise
and
lower, and has been fitted
with a highfield lever on the forestay for even easier single-handed
mast raising.
The Careel 18 Mk II's are ideal for two adults, but have accommodation for up to four adults if desired.
This boat has a very good inventory and is priced to sell quickly.
