proudly presents a lovely Haines Tramp. Designed by multi-hull legend
Ian Farrier, and built by the famous Haines Hunter company. This is a
nice boat that you will be proud to own.
The registered single axle Redco-Tinka tilt trailer is in good condition and
has cable over-ride disc brakes and an electric winch to make launching &
retrieving easy. The electric winch can also assist with raising
and lowering the mast. Auxiliary power is provided by a nice 5 HP
long shaft Mercury outboard. Sail wardrobe includes two sets of
sails; two mainsails and two jibs. One set are very recent and are
in excellent condition, the other are in good condition with plenty of
life left in them. A near new bimini top provides lots of shade
for the cockpit, the trampolines are in good nick, and a marine radio
and safety gear round out the
package.

A few years ago Gavin owned a Haines Tramp as his personal boat and
loved it passionately. The combination of easy mast raising, very
light towing weight for length, unrivalled stability whether under sail,
motor or at rest, beautiful handling under sail and of course their
effortless speed made his Tramp one of his all-time favourite trailer
yachts. We consider them to be the ultimate daysailer thanks to
their very deep, comfortable cockpit, and deck space approaching that of
a 30 footer. Under sail they are very similar to a monohull to
handle - they tack just like a normal yacht (not getting stuck in irons
like cats often do), but their stability will really surprise you - they
hardly lean. They are very dry to sail thanks to their deep
cockpit. If you have a nervous sailor in your crew, they will
LOVE the Haines Tramp.
