This boat is a real touch of class, and will only suit the most discerning buyer.  This is a late model boat with a very good inventory, presenting in excellent condition throughout.  

This Careel 18 Mk III has always been kept under cover and fastidiously maintained.  It really shows!  The registered single axle Tracer tilt trailer presents in very good condition and has cable over-ride disc brakes, and a Powerwinch model 315 Electric Winch.  The wheel bearings have just been serviced, receipts available.  The keel is hydraulically operated.  Auxiliary power is provided by an 8HP long shaft Yamaha outboard, with charging loop and 24 litre fuel tank.  The outboard ran beautifully in our test-tank, and started very easily.  An outboard trolley is included.    

This Careel 18 Mk III  has spreaders on her mast and is fitted with highfield levers on both the baby-stay and forestay for easier mast raising.  The sail wardrobe is by Keith Brown Sails of Sydney and includes Dacron main with both luff & foot slides, working jib and genoa.  A jib furler is included.  The sails are tan in colour and really compliment the boat.  General equipment includes Electrolux metho stove, approx 40 litre fresh water tank, pulpit & pushpit, 3 x PFD's, 27 MHz transceiver with side-band for extra range, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, distress flares (expired), a removable stainless steel boarding ladder, nice clean chemical toilet, fenders, interior lights, navigation lights, an excellent deep-cycle 12 volt battery, sliding hatch, anchor locker and two anchors, one is a plough pattern, the other a danforth pattern, a heavy-duty tarp to keep the boat protected from the elements and lots more.
