Another lovely Boomaroo 22

This boat is a real surprise packet.  She is presented in nice condition throughout for age and offers a good inventory.  Boomaroo 22's are very stable boats to sail, with a nice balance on the helm and a reputation for handling rough weather.  They have a swing keel and minimal intrusion into the cabin from the centreboard case for more interior space.  If you are looking for a very stable cruising boat that offers a good turn of speed without breaking the bank, this boat should be top of your shortlist.

This boat has a custom-made dual axle tilt-trailer with cable over-ride drum brakes, a two speed Jarrett manual winch, and is registered until 9th April 2009.  A spare wheel is included, and the trailer light connector is a NSW standard flat 7 pin plug.  The trailer has a washing system to help reduce maintenance.  The trailer has a mast raising system and an outboard transport bracket. 

The sail wardrobe includes seven sails; two mainsails, four headsails and a pretty red & blue coloured spinnaker.

The interior sleeps up to five, with a double berth in the bow, single settee berth to starboard and a smaller double if the dinette table is lowered.  Galley facilities are basic, with a cartridge-style stove.  The toilet is a Portapotty Model 245, which is located under the V-berth.

Electrics include interior lights, navigation lights, 12 volt battery, GME model GX294 27 MHz transceiver, Kenwood model KDC1020 CD radio, an Eagle "Cuda 168" fish finder, and wind instruments.

Safety gear includes 4 x PFD type 1's, powder fire extinguisher, V-sheet & flares (expired). General gear includes a stainless boarding ladder, cockpit cushions, fenders, boom awning, halyard tail bags, winch handle pocket, 2 x winch handles, 4 x cockpit drink holders, 2 x danforth anchors, Suunto liquid filled compass, 4 x sheet winches, rope clutches for both the main & jib halyards and more.
